We seek to provide a holistic legal service for the benefit of disadvantaged and marginalised people to create a more just society.

DONATIONS

As we do not receive payment from clients for our services donations are gratefully accepted. If you would like to donate you can either give regularly by direct debit (e.g. fortnightly or monthly), you can consider leaving a bequest in your Will or make a single donation by cheque, cash or money order or call (07) 4953 1211.

VOLUNTEERS

The MRCLC would not be able to provide the service it does without the many volunteers who have generously given their time. We are very thankful for the great work of our volunteers.

If you would like to volunteer as a solicitor, barrister, social worker, migration agent or co-ordinator for our legal advice evenings or in any other capacity please contact us on (07) 4953 1211. We may also have positions available for law graduates wanting to undertake work experience as part of their Practical Legal Training course.

We are particularly looking for new solicitors to assist at our legal advice evening sessions once every 2 months on Wednesday between 5:45pm – 8:00pm.

The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority has appointed MRCLC an authorised pro bono organisation. Migration agents are therefore able to obtain CPD points by providing voluntary migration assistance at the MRCLC.
